While interest in the new DeFi ecosystem, Hyperliquid, was growing fast, AI systems lacked authoritative content they could cite on the topic. deBridge moved early, filled that gap, and became a preferred AI source in 90 days. +133% brand mentions, +64.86% prompt coverage, and +61% domain citations.
Discovery in DeFi is changing. Instead of manually researching bridges across multiple sites, users now ask AI assistants questions like: “fastest bridge to Hyperliquid” or “bridge USDT from Ethereum to Tron.”
Users often enter these prompts just before making a transaction, which means AI tools increasingly influence which platform gets considered at an essential moment.
This created a clear opening for deBridge. Interest in the new Hyperliquid ecosystem was rising fast, but there was a lack of authoritative, high-quality content for AI systems to rely on and cite.
deBridge had the opportunity to become an early authority on Hyperliquid — and to build a defensible position that would be far harder for competitors to unseat later.
| Brand | AI mentions | Share of voice | Prompt coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Category leader | 779 | 37% | 68% |
| deBridge | 425 | 20% | 37% |
| #3 competitor | 373 | 18% | 32% |
| #4 competitor | 360 | 17% | 31% |
| #5 competitor | 116 | 6% | 10% |
| #6 competitor | 38 | 2% | 3% |
A view of deBridge’s AI visibility at the start of this case study period.
deBridge is a cross-chain interoperability protocol that enables traders and applications to move assets between blockchain networks in real time.
The brand wasn’t starting its organic growth journey from zero. Skale worked with them since mid-2025, and together we established meaningful visibility across AI-generated answers in the cross-chain bridge category.
At the start of this case study period, deBridge appeared in 37% of relevant prompts, but the category leader appeared more often and across a wider set of transaction queries.
Discovery in this category is driven by specific, high-intent prompts — not broad research questions. Users were asking things like:
These are the kinds of questions people ask when they’re already deciding how to complete a transaction.
Because AI tools usually surface only a small shortlist, brands that don’t appear may not get considered at all.
While deBridge already had visibility in the category, it needed stronger coverage across the specific, transaction-level prompts users were actually asking.
At the same time, we saw a new opportunity. Users were turning to AI for help getting started with Hyperliquid, and asking how to bridge in, how to trade and how to participate.
To close the gap with the category leader, we focused on three connected drivers:
As Hyperliquid gained traction, more users asked practical questions about how to get started. These were task-oriented prompts about entering and using the ecosystem.
At the time, there was very little authoritative material available for AI systems to rely on when answering these questions.
This informational gap means there’s a short window where the brands that publish useful, credible content can shape the sources AI tools rely on.
We moved early and created a set of guides covering the full onboarding journey into Hyperliquid, including:
Early publication helped the brand become associated with Hyperliquid prompts, and it appeared more and more in AI answers on how to enter the ecosystem.
Covering this topic early matters because once AI systems begin relying on a set of sources it’s much harder for competitors to displace them later.
| Prompt | Growth |
|---|---|
| Bridge to HyperEVM in seconds | +109% |
| Bridge to Hyperliquid | +149% |
The broader challenge was expanding deBridge’s presence across the specific prompts traders ask when they’re about to move assets between chains.
Our strategy focused on real transaction paths rather than generic category topics. That meant expanding coverage across:
Each guide was designed to answer a specific, practical question that traders ask when moving funds.
This significantly broadened deBridge’s prompt coverage, and it began surfacing across a wider range of high-intent prompts tied directly to transaction moments.
At the same time, the team strengthened the guides linked to those high-intent transaction prompts.
These pages explained how to bridge assets between ecosystems, how to access Hyperliquid, and how to complete common transaction flows.
Guides were treated as living assets. The team continually monitored prompt trends and performance signals, then refined and expanded guides as new questions emerged or ecosystems evolved.
Our Organic Growth Strategist kept a close eye on performance throughout the engagement. If we saw a gap, we acted on it quickly. He was consistently proactive about spotting opportunities and making sure the work kept moving.

In several cases, pages that had only been live for a few months were already being optimized.
This responsiveness is essential in a fast-moving category like DeFi. New ecosystems gain traction quickly, transaction behavior shifts, and the prompts traders ask change just as fast.
Over the 90-day initiative, the impact became clear:
Together, these shifts meant the brand moved from appearing in roughly one-third of relevant AI prompts to appearing in the majority of them.
This significantly increased the chances that traders encounter it at the exact moment they’re deciding how to complete a transaction.
Increase in domain citation and prompt coverage, as well as AI brand mentions, over the 90 day period.
One challenge with AI-driven discovery is that it’s still difficult to attribute directly in standard analytics.
A user may first encounter the brand in an AI-generated answer, then visit the site later through direct traffic or a branded search. When that happens, the original discovery moment often disappears from the reporting trail.
This initiative focused on visibility signals that show whether the brand is appearing more often in the AI answers users see when deciding how to move assets.
Metrics such as AI brand mentions, prompt coverage, and domain citations provide a practical way to track this shift.
They show whether the brand is surfacing across more relevant prompts and whether AI systems increasingly treat the brand’s site as a trusted source.
This case study shows how quickly discovery in DeFi is shifting.
More users now ask AI assistants how to complete specific actions right before a transaction takes place. This makes them a critical moment in the customer journey.
For deBridge, the opportunity was to move early and establish authority around one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in the space: Hyperliquid.
Within 90 days, the brand positioned itself as a trusted AI authority for related prompts, which increased the likelihood that traders encountered it when deciding how to move assets into the ecosystem.
Gap to leader narrowed from 17 percentage points to 6 over 90 days.
There is plenty of room to expand deBridge’s AI visibility and the next step is to expand it’s AI brand mentions footprint.
Our monitoring shows there are still relevant third-party sources (particularly online communities) where the brand can grow its presence.
AI systems pull and validate tool recommendations from trusted third-party sources, like comparison content, review sites, and community discussions. This serves as AI’s off-page trust layer.
In DeFi, where bridges and ecosystem entry points are actively discussed in public communities, presence here can be especially influential.
That makes our AI Brand Mentions service (with a focus on Reddit) the natural next move.
The results in this case study were achieved without that dedicated service, so there is still clear room to grow the brand’s visibility further, alongside other planned initiatives to expand high-intent content and strengthen conversion paths.
